Blazin Hot Performance is a horse riding lesson program based in Roy, Washington, taught by April Sansevere. Lessons are open to riders of all ages and experience levels. Some students have never touched a horse. Others already compete and want cleaner, more consistent runs.

- Kids horse riding lessons: patient, safety-first lessons for young riders, with participation based on each child's ability to take part safely.
- Adult horse riding lessons: for first-time adult riders and anyone coming back to the saddle after time away.
Skills and speed events
- Western riding & horsemanship: groundwork and practical riding skills for better communication and control.
- Barrel racing lessons: pattern fundamentals, approaches, turns, rider position and controlled speed.
- Pole bending lessons: straightness, positioning, timing and building speed without losing control.
- Rodeo & competition preparation: pattern work, responsiveness and fixing problem areas before you show.
Every lesson can be taught as a private riding lesson or a group riding lesson.

You don't need to own a horse to take lessons. BHP has beginner-friendly lesson horses, which is how most new riders and kids begin. If you already have a horse, you're welcome to bring them. Lessons with your own horse can focus on general riding, horsemanship, barrels, poles or performance work.

How we teach: correct first
BHP's approach fits in one line: Correct first. Consistent second. Speed comes after. A beginner learns to stop and steer well before going faster. A barrel racer learns a correct pattern before chasing a time. Habits built early tend to stick, so it pays to build good ones.
